Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, proactive, and team‑oriented Back of House Operations Associate to join the Kariella team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in receiving and processing all new merchandise that comes into the store. This is a clerically driven position with some physical labor required, and it supports the overall flow and efficiency of our store operations.
Duties
- Unpack, process, and receive all incoming inventory using Lightspeed POS, including moving boxes, hanging merchandise, attaching sensors/tags, and steaming new arrivals.
- Utilize POS systems to track stock movement, manage replenishment, and support healthy inventory turnover.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with category management strategies to improve product availability and minimize excess stock.
- Fulfill daily web orders through Shopify, ensuring accuracy, speed, and brand‑aligned presentation.
- Handle online customer care inquiries with professionalism and timely communication.
- Process vendor returns and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient Back of House workspace.
- Track supply levels and communicate reorder needs proactively.
Experience
- Proven experience in an inventory receiving role within a clothing store or similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lightspeed POS and Shopify proffered.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Clerical experience is preferred.
