Job Responsibilities:
As our Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our properties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct apartment turnovers efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
- Handle routine service requests
- Perform porter/groundskeeping tasks to ensure curb appeal and common areas are well-maintained, as needed.
- Coordinate and complete special projects and work orders promptly
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances
- Carry out electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and masonry repairs as needed
- Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and regular preventive maintenance on equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clean work areas
Requirements:
- 3+ year(s) of maintenance experience required in the apartment property management industry
- After-Hours team
- HVAC Certified (Preferred)
- Strong customer service skills
- Tools required
- Ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs without assistance
- Valid California Driver's License, vehicle registration, and personal car insurance
- Reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel (truck preferred)
- Ability to operate a smartphone and iPad
- Knowledge of AppFolio (preferred but not required)
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay rate is $25.00 per hour, plus monthly cell phone allowance
Reporting Locations: 92155
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
