Accounting Specialist – A/P & A/R

Injury Care Solutions is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. This position works closely with the Accounting Supervisor and is responsible for a combination of Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), invoicing, reconciliations, and provider account support.
We are looking for someone who is professional, analytical, proactive, dependable, and highly detail-oriented. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and providing excellent communication and customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Process and verify invoices using proper general ledger coding
- Review funding bills and calculate payable amounts using applicable percentages
- Handle both A/P and A/R responsibilities
- Reconcile provider statements and account balances
- Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Communicate professionally with providers regarding account and payment inquiries
- Execute and assist with check runs
- Enter manual checks as needed
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Assist with reconciliations and other accounting functions
- Work closely with the Accounting Supervisor to ensure deadlines and department goals are met
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and department efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of accounting, A/P, A/R, or related experience preferred
- Medical billing or healthcare accounting experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Salesforce and Sage is a plus
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient typing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to grow professionally

Injury Care Solutions is a growing medical funding company located in Murray, Utah. We provide support within the personal injury industry and work closely with patients, medical providers, attorneys, and other partners.
