Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Lead and supervise retail staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, ordering, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support sales management efforts by implementing promotional strategies and monitoring sales targets.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and cashiering activities to ensure accuracy and security.
- Participate in recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees to build a strong retail team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate clearly.
- Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, POS systems, and sales operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, budgeting, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Previous experience with employee orientation, training & development, and supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
