Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely setup and breakdown.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during service hours to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all food handling safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures to uphold health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared foods and maintain a positive team environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale catering events is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.

Pay: $16.90 - $19.00 per hour
