Hours: 40 Hours/Week
(Day shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Schedule varies; no fixed schedule
Setting: Level I/II Trauma OR
Charting: EPIC
Note: Pay rate depends on local or travel status. The pay rate is $40/hr for local nurses.

JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a high-volume, Operating Room with adult and pediatric surgical cases across multiple specialties, including trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, transplant, ENT, vascular, thoracic, urology, and pediatrics.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control standards.
- Support complex adult and pediatric surgical cases.
- Assist with trauma and emergency procedures.
- Support orthopedic, general, robotic, transplant, ENT, vascular, thoracic, urology, and pediatric cases.
- Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and availability of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Float to designated OR locations as needed.
- Participate in weekend, holiday, night rotation, and on-call coverage.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
- Level I or II Trauma experience required
- BLS (AHA) required
- Active CST Virginia State license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in call rotation
