Medical Scribe – Primary Care
Advanced Medical Group LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our growing primary care practice. The Medical Scribe will work directly alongside our physician to accurately document patient encounters, assist with chart preparation, and support the daily clinical workflow.

Schedule
- Monday–Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Fixed schedule (28 hours per week)
- No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
Work Locations
Advanced Medical Group operates from two office locations:
- Coral Gables (Miami)
- Hialeah
The physician rotates between both offices throughout the week. The Medical Scribe will be expected to report to the scheduled office each workday. Reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities
- Accompany the physician during patient visits and document medical encounters in real time using the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Accurately document patient history, physical examinations, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
- Prepare patient charts before appointments by reviewing previous office notes, laboratory results, imaging, and specialist reports.
- Enter physician-directed orders into the EMR.
- Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and other clinical documentation.
- Review and organize incoming laboratory and diagnostic reports for physician review.
- Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with documentation standards.
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and office staff.
- Assist with additional administrative duties that support efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Previous Medical Scribe experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- Strong typing, computer, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is required.
