Job Overview
Buka Home Care & Medical Transportation Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our home care and non-emergency medical transportation programs. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high standards of client care, supervising staff, and supporting the continued growth and success of the organization.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about healthcare operations, with a commitment to quality service, compliance, and team development.
Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of home care and medical transportation services.
- Ensure compliance with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) regulations and agency policies.
- Supervise, mentor, and support office staff, caregivers, and transportation personnel.
- Maintain operational, personnel, and client records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor service quality and implement quality assurance initiatives.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with clients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Support business development, marketing, and growth initiatives.
- Address client concerns and ensure timely resolution of service issues.
Experience
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, home care, social services, or a related field preferred.
- Experience supervising staff and managing daily operations.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and personnel management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home care, home health, healthcare, or a related human services program.
- Must meet California Home Care Organization administrative requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic record-keeping systems.
- Must successfully pass criminal background clearance requirements in accordance with California regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
