HJF is seeking a Program Manager II to oversee a collection of related/integrated projects that together support a long-term research initiative. This position strategically guides one or more project managers and related technical staff to ensure they are all working effectively toward the program’s stated objectives. Typically oversees moderately complex scope of work.
This position will be in support of the Diagnostics and Countermeasures Branch (DCB), in the Center of Infectious Disease Research (CIDR) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR). The incumbent will report directly to the Chief of Staff and will provide program management support within the Operations Office in overall program management and coordination of program administrative activities across the Branch to include, but is not limited to, centralizing key activities for personnel management, developing staffing plans, recruiting, managing travel requests and expense reports. The incumbent will also provide high level meeting coordination for DCB’s Operations Office to include scheduling, developing agendas and meeting summaries, as well as, tracking completion of all action items.
