Job Summary
Primoris Distribution Services, Inc. is seeking Natural Gas Laborers in Fort Pierce, FL to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas distribution systems. This entry-level position involves physically demanding work in various weather conditions, primarily supporting skilled craftspeople.
Job Responsibilities-

Perform manual labor tasks including digging trenches, shoveling, backfilling, and operating hand tools.

Assist in the installation of natural gas pipelines, services, and related infrastructure.

Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks.
-
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safety and accuracy.

Perform flagging duties to control traffic around work sites.
-
Assist with pipe fusion, fitting, and testing procedures as directed.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
-
Operate small power tools and equipment under supervision.

Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
Job Qualifications-

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Prior experience in construction, labor, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry).

Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.

Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
