Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dedicated BOH Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic culinary team
This role encompasses a variety of positions including Line Cooks, Prep Staff, Dishwashers, Line Leads, and Expo personnel. The ideal candidates will be passionate about food service, possess strong kitchen skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Support the dishwashing process to ensure timely cleaning of utensils, cookware, and dishes
- Lead or assist with line operations during service hours as a Line Lead or Food Runner
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow as an Expo or Food Runner
- Participate in menu planning and daily prep activities as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation
Experience
- Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service is preferred
- Experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food handling is highly desirable
- Background in restaurant or kitchen environments with knowledge of culinary techniques and knife skills is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards, catering operations, serving protocols, and meal preparation processes is beneficial
- Previous roles such as line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, line lead, food runner, or expo will be considered an asset
- Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
