Temporary Full-Time – Rapid Response Deployment Team
This position is established for emergency response operations and is expected to last a minimum of 30 days, with the potential for extension based on client needs and operational requirements. Employment is based on deployment assignments and rotating work schedules and does not require employees to work 30 consecutive days.
Position Summary
Morgan Security Services is seeking experienced, highly dependable security professionals to serve on our Rapid Response Unit (RRU). This specialized team provides immediate operational support to client locations experiencing emergencies, natural disasters, critical infrastructure incidents, staffing shortages, security incidents, special events, civil disturbances, or other mission-critical situations.
Rapid Response Officers are deployed where they are needed most and are expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism while representing Morgan Security Services. Assignments require officers to quickly adapt to new environments, learn site-specific post orders, and immediately integrate into ongoing security operations.
This position is a temporary emergency deployment expected to last a minimum of 30 days, with assignments subject to extension based on operational needs. Officers should expect to work 12-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) on a rotating schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and emergency call-outs.
Officers must be prepared to travel throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and other operational areas as assigned. Travel may require overnight stays, and company-provided lodging may be furnished when assignments require officers to remain away from their home area. Officers must be capable of deploying with minimal notice and maintaining readiness throughout the duration of the assignment.
Rapid Response Officers serve as Morgan Security Services' first line of operational support during critical incidents. They are expected to remain flexible, demonstrate sound judgment under pressure, and uphold the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client post orders, and core values while delivering exceptional security services in dynamic environments.
Rapid Response Unit Expectations
Members of the Rapid Response Unit are expected to:
- Accept deployment assignments with minimal advance notice.
- Travel to client locations throughout the Company's service area.
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts based on operational requirements.
- Be available for nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and emergency operations.
- Stay in company-provided lodging when deployments require overnight travel.
- Report to designated staging areas or deployment locations as directed.
- Adapt quickly to changing assignments, post orders, and operational priorities.
- Maintain deployment readiness by arriving with all required uniforms, equipment, and licensing.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Morgan Security Services' Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client-specific post orders, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Maintain exceptional attendance, professionalism, and reliability throughout the deployment.
- Represent Morgan Security Services with integrity, professionalism, and a customer-service mindset at every assignment.
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
