Job Description:
Amrize is hiring full-time semi-haulers for our Eastern North Dakota and Western Minnesota locations hauling Aggregate products. We are looking for drivers who are adaptable, patient, and self-reliant. Drivers go home at the end of the day and can point to what they helped build in their community.
- Safely and efficiently hauls and delivers materials to and from vendors and job sites
- Conducts pre and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and makes sure equipment is safe and in good working order
- Ensures that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed at all times
- Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safely to designated areas maintains safe speed, and observes all haulage
- Identifies safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to the supervisor, including near misses and areas where safety can be improved
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Flexibility - overtime and Saturdays may be required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Must possess a valid Class A (for Tanker/End Dump positions); must pass DOT drug screen and obtain and retain a DOT physical card
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with product suppliers, plant employees, dispatchers, mechanics and other drivers
Wage Range: 26.94 - 28.33 per hour
