We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and ensure a smooth finish.
- Install fixtures and perform basic remodeling tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry and maintenance person skills is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools and painting equipment.
- Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities.
- Ability to work on remodeling projects and fixture installations.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
