EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This role focuses on building, repairing, and maintaining structures throughout the facility to ensure safe and efficient operations. As a Carpenter 1, you will perform the following duties:

Structural Repair: Maintain and fix floors, windows, roofs, locks, furniture, and other building features

Construction Tasks: Lay tile, brick, stone, and concrete to build or improve structures as needed

Tool Operation: Use manual and pneumatic tools to break and remove materials during repair work

Preventive Maintenance: Inspect and service doors, windows, floors, roofs, and equipment to avoid breakdowns

New Installations: Install new doors, windows, floors, locks, and other materials to support facility needs

Equipment Support: Repair furniture and assist in building program equipment to extend its lifespan

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work a rotating schedule that includes holidays and one weekend a month. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
