Hose Shop Technician
Job Overview:
We are hiring a Hose Shop Technician to join our team. This position is temp-to-hire, with the potential for a long-term role and opportunities for growth. You will play a key part in assembling, repairing, and testing industrial hoses and fittings to meet customer demands and ensure quality standards.
Key Details:
- Pay: Starting $17.00 (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Occasional overtime available

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Hose Assembly and Repair:
- Cut, assemble, and repair industrial hoses and fittings according to customer requirements.
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
Testing and Inspection:
- Perform pressure tests on hoses and fittings to ensure they meet specifications.
- Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hoses, fittings, and other materials.
- Organize and stock materials in the hose shop for easy access.
Customer Service:
- Assist customers with hose selection, assembly, and repair inquiries.
- Provide recommendations based on customer needs and application requirements.
Safety and Maintenance:
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ years of experience in a hose shop, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of hose assembly techniques, fittings, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
- MUST be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
