We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team in Leesburg, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction projects, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Run conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid) and pull wire
- Install panels, switchgear, lighting, and control systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades on job sites
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman license (preferred but not required)
- Experience with new construction and tenant upfits
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
