Sightsee Optometry is a brand new boutique private practice opening in West Roseville, CA. We’re creating a modern, patient-centered optical experience and are looking for an experienced optician who is passionate about premium eyewear and exceptional customer service.
As one of our first team members, you’ll play an important role in shaping the culture and success of our practice!
Responsibilities
● Eyewear stylist! Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their lifestyle and prescription
● Measure, fit, adjust, and dispense eyewear
● Verify vision insurance benefits and explain coverage
● Assist with scheduling, phones, patient check-in/out, and other front office duties
● Maintain an organized optical gallery and assist with inventory
● Support marketing initiatives and community events
● Deliver an exceptional patient experience every day
Qualifications
● 1+ year of optical experience
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Experience selling premium eyewear and ophthalmic lenses
● Familiarity with VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and Medicare
● Eyefinity Encompass experience is a plus
● Professional, dependable, organized, and patient-focused
