As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, creating a welcoming and efficient environment while supporting the daily operations of our clinic. Duties
- Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Schedule appointments, answer incoming phone calls, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Assist with patient registration, documentation, and other front office administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with providers, medical assistants, and X-ray staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and clinic policies.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience required; medical office experience preferred.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical office workflows is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
