Position Overview
The Wholesale Sales Representative will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with florists, event designers, wedding professionals, venues, garden centers, and other industry clients. This position combines sales, customer service, account management, and business development while serving as a professional representative of the Select Growers brand.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about building relationships and helping customers succeed.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Follow up on leads, quotes, customer inquiries, and seasonal sales opportunities
- Communicate product availability, seasonal offerings, promotions, and new products
- Assist customers with product recommendations and greenery solutions
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfillment
- Maintain organized customer records and communication history
- Assist with taking photos and creating content for social media and marketing efforts when needed
- Represent Select Growers in a professional and positive manner
- Help support continued sales growth and customer retention efforts
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience required
- Experience in floral, event, horticulture, wholesale, retail, or related industries preferred
- Knowledge of the cut foliage, floral, or greenery industry preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Creative mindset with an eye for presentation and design
- Comfortable using social media platforms and taking photos/content for marketing purposes
- Basic computer and email proficiency required

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and may include commission opportunities, and performance incentives.
