Essential Responsibilities
· Install, Repair, Radiographic, Fluoroscopic and Interventional medical X-ray DR systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all service standards.
· Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to drive satisfaction and service excellence.
· Manage territory performance, including revenue, expenses, inventory accuracy, and proper care of company assets.
· Complete all administrative and regulatory documentation (service reports, PMs, ICRs, FMIs, expenses, installations, etc.) accurately and on schedule.
· Deliver timely, effective technical service while ensuring superior customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with clients and peers.
· Adhere to all quality, safety, and compliance requirements while maintaining proficiency with tools, test equipment, electrical/electronic, and networking fundamentals.
· Collaborate as an active team member, sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
· Utilize escalation and support resources to ensure timely resolution of service issues.
·Travel up to 70% within the assigned geography (average 1–4 hours daily), with periodic overnight or air travel, out of your primary area as required for this field-based role.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (EE/EET/ME/MET preferred), military technical training, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of equivalent technical education.
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience servicing X-ray or DR imaging medical equipment (OEM or multi-vendor X-ray (DR) experience with training certificates preferred).
Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation with proven ability to meet or exceed expectations.
- Excellent time management; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency with test equipment, computer systems, networking, DICOM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work safely with radiation sources and radioactive materials while following PPE and safety requirements.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel independently day and night.
- Flexible and available for overnight travel, short-notice assignments, and participation in after-hours or rotating on-call schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required. Will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and extended standing.
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and resource management in customer-facing environments.
