Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented CNC SET UP PROGRAMMER OPERATOR /Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a master of their craft who can manage complex turning and milling jobs with minimal supervision, communicate effectively with customers, and maintain a high standard of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Oversee all work assigned ,
- Programming & Design: Write CNC milling and turning programs, design custom tooling and fixtures, and select appropriate tooling for efficient production.
- Hands-On Machining: Set up and operate machines to produce prototype and one-of-a-kind parts from samples and production.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist
- Technical Skills:
- Expert-level blueprint reading and complex math (trigonometry).
- Proven ability to design tooling/fixtures.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD/CAM software is highly preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A completed machinist apprenticeship or a 2-year Technical College machining degree is a significant plus.
- Performance Requirements:
- Excellent attendance record is a condition of hire and continued employment.
- Successful completion of an on-site technical/machining test and interview process.

Schedule
- Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours/week).
