We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our Graceful Beauty Aesthetics team. This role involves assessing client needs, delivering tailored massage treatments, and promoting overall well-being through therapeutic practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each client's condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness and ensure client safety.
- Document treatment plans and client progress accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings when necessary.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and pain management strategies to promote long-term wellness.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to patient assessment and treatment documentation.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy practices.
- Experience or interest in working within a med spa environment is a plus.
- Understanding of pain management principles and occupational health considerations is beneficial.
