ResponsibilitiesStore operations and sales
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Drive sales and meet goals by providing excellent product recommendations and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Manage and organize store inventory, including receiving stock, conducting audits, and monitoring product trends.
- Handle cash register operations, process transactions, and assist with basic financial reporting.
- Maintain store cleanliness, a well-organized sales floor, and visually appealing displays.
Team leadership and development
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff members to achieve store goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Help create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper store coverage.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Help resolve employee conflicts and create a positive and professional work environment.
Customer relations
- Provide a friendly and welcoming environment for customers, addressing their needs and answering questions.
- Handle customer complaints or grievances, escalating issues to the store manager when necessary.
- Ensure that staff members are properly checking IDs to comply with age requirements for purchasing vape products.
Compliance and administrative duties
- Support the store manager in ensuring all operations adhere to company policies and local, state, and federal regulations for tobacco and vape products.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as sales and inventory reports, promptly and accurately.
- Assume full responsibility for the store's operations in the absence of the store manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail environment, with prior leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vaping products, including devices, e-liquids, and accessories.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Must be of legal age to sell tobacco and vape products.
