Fiesta Auto Insurance & Tax is seeking an experienced, growth-minded Senior Tax Associate to join our team. In this role, you will lead complex tax preparation and advisory services, mentor junior tax preparers, and help expand our client portfolio through exceptional service and cross-selling.

Key Responsibilities
Tax Preparation & Advisory
- Review and sign off on complex individual and small business tax returns, ensuring full compliance with IRS regulations and GAAP standards.
- Serve as an expert resource for clients, clearly explaining tax strategies, resolves, and complex tax matters to build trust and retention.
- Stay current on evolving federal and state tax laws across the U.S.
Team Leadership & Quality Control
- Mentor, train, and coach tax preparers and office staff across local branches to improve return accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform quality control reviews on transmitted returns to maintain high compliance standards.
- Track local office tax metrics (returns processed, error rates, client retention) and provide recommendations to management.
Portfolio Growth & Client Retention
- Actively contribute to client acquisition and retention through exceptional service and local marketing support.
- Identify client needs for additional financial and insurance services (cross-selling/conversions).
- Help manage client relationships to drive year-over-year portfolio growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3–5+ years of professional tax preparation experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong background handling complex individual (1040) and business returns; experience reviewing work prepared by junior staff.
- Software: Proficiency with professional tax software, CRMs, Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Leadership: Proven ability to coach team members, manage workflow during peak tax season, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish fluency preferred (written and verbal).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience (EA or CPA candidate is a strong plus).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
