We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Vascular Care to join our innovative healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vascular assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations such as ultrasound and sonography.
- Manage a broad spectrum of vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, venous insufficiency, aneurysms, and post-surgical care.
- Perform minimally invasive procedures such as sclerotherapy, dermal fillers for aesthetic purposes, and assist with laser treatments when applicable.
- Collaborate with physicians on complex cases involving critical care scenarios
- Utilize EMR systems such ad eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Provide patient education on vascular health management, lifestyle modifications, and post-procedure care plans.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Demonstrated proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for comprehensive medical documentation.
- Hands-on experience performing ultrasound-guided procedures including venipuncture, catheterization, and sterile techniques such as suturing and specimen collection.
- Critical care experience in settings like ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable for managing acute vascular emergencies.
- Knowledge of CPT coding and ICD coding (including ICD-10/ICD-9) for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms to deliver remote patient consultations effectively.
- Additional skills in pain management, wound care including dressing changes, dialysis support, and working with diverse populations such as geriatric or pediatric patients are advantageous. Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
