Location: Minneapolis, MN
Salary: $150K-$200K base + bonus + profit sharing
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and a passion for defense work
Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial consultation through trial and settlement negotiations.

Manage personal injury defense cases from start to finish, including premises liability, auto negligence, wrongful death, and foodborne illness matters

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.

Represent clients in mediations and court proceedings

Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.

Engage in depositions, mediations, and court appearances as necessary.

Communicate with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and explaining legal processes.

Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure the best outcomes for clients.

Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and share expertise.
Qualifications
-
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Motor Vehicle Defense experience (preferred)

5+ years of personal injury experience (defense preferred) personal injury/premises liability/auto claims

Active license to practice law in the state.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law or related fields.

Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and personal injury statutes.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings is a plus.
