Job Summary:
Seeking motivated, experienced candidates to estimate, oversee and manage electrical projects from start to finish. Candidates should have solid professional references to provide. Applicants must have a minimum of 5yrs experience overseeing projects of size as a foreman plus another 5yrs working in field as Journeyman prior to foreman experience. This position will work along side the Field Superintendent and Owner to accomplish successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities & Experience will include:
- High attention to detail a must.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and systems in both commercial and light industrial.
- Must have clean driving record and clean criminal history.
- As a key position within our company, professionalism and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with general contractors, architects and business owners is a must.
- Must have good computer knowledge of various levels and comprehension.
- Position is 85% in-office position with bid walks and job sites visits, etc. also required.
- Must be self-motivated and have excellent time management as this position relies on you to work for yourself and owner to meet critical deadlines for job bids, change orders, RFI’s, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be extremely organized and be able to plan, schedule and budget projects.
- Experience estimating is a plus, but not fully required.
- Active license of either electrical journeyman or master is a requirement.
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts, manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure profitability, conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and quality, ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
