Lead Residential Service Electrician

Seeking an experienced Lead Residential Service Electrician to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a highly skilled electrician who can independently run residential service calls, panel upgrades, service replacements, troubleshooting jobs, and installation projects while providing an exceptional customer experience.
This role combines the technical expertise of a master troubleshooter with the leadership and professionalism of a field leader. The ideal candidate takes ownership of every job, communicates effectively with homeowners, and consistently delivers safe, code-compliant, inspection-ready work.

What You'll Do Residential Service & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues, including circuits, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, and electrical devices
- Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and system diagnostics
- Complete panel replacements, service upgrades, and meter base replacements
- Install and replace electrical services, mast assemblies, grounding systems, and whole-home surge protection
- Perform load calculations and service sizing
- Install generators, transfer switches, EV chargers, and backup power systems
- Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and local jurisdiction standards
Leadership & Project Management
- Lead and coordinate residential electrical projects from start to finish
- Manage materials, workflow, scheduling, and job completion
- Mentor and assist apprentice and junior electricians
- Coordinate with utility companies, inspectors, project managers, and office staff
- Maintain organized, safe, and efficient job sites
- Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality workmanship
Customer Experience
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Explain electrical issues, repair options, and recommendations clearly
- Build trust through honesty, professionalism, and technical expertise
- Deliver a five-star customer experience on every job
- Maintain accurate job notes, photos, and documentation using company software
QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of residential electrical experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience performing panel changes and service upgrades
- Thorough understanding of residential electrical systems
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Preferred
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent experience
- Generator installation experience
- EV charger installation experience
- ServiceTitan experience
- Leadership or crew lead experience
- Experience training apprentices and junior electricians

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- Overtime opportunities available
- Occasional emergency and after-hours service work as needed
