We are hiring professional Door Attendants to provide front-entrance coverage for a luxury retail client in Atlanta.
This is a customer-facing position focused on maintaining an attentive and professional presence at the store entrance, welcoming guests, assisting with the door when appropriate, and following site procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an attentive presence at the store entrance
- Welcome and acknowledge arriving and departing guests
- Open and hold doors when appropriate
- Provide basic directions or assistance to customers
- Remain aware of activity around the entrance
- Communicate professionally with store employees and management
- Remain at the assigned position until properly relieved
- Follow all site procedures and instructions
Uniform Requirements
Employees assigned to this location are required to report to work in the designated uniform:
- Black business suit
- Black tie
- White button-down collared dress shirt
- Black dress shoes
- Black dress socks
Uniforms must be clean, pressed, and maintained in professional condition. Employees are expected to maintain professional workplace grooming consistent with the client site's dress standards.
On-Post Expectations
- No headphones or earbuds while on duty
- Personal phone use is not permitted while actively assigned to the entrance
- Phones may be used during authorized breaks
- Employees must remain attentive while on post
- Employees must remain at their assigned position until relieved or authorized to leave
- Professional conduct is required when interacting with customers and store employees
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional customer-service skills
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to follow uniform and workplace standards
- Experience in hospitality, luxury retail, concierge services, valet, customer service, or similar customer-facing work is preferred but not required
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
