Lead Toddler Teacher
Wise Kids is looking for a caring, dependable, and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team!
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, can confidently lead a classroom, and understands the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for toddlers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of a toddler classroom
- Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Provide active supervision and maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Support children's social-emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development
- Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, naps, and daily routines
- Complete daily communication and documentation through Procare
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Communicate professionally with parents and families
- Guide and work collaboratively with assistant teachers and classroom staff
- Complete child observations and developmental assessments as required
- Follow all center policies and Massachusetts EEC regulations
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development
Qualifications
- Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting
- Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification preferred
- Lead Teacher certification is a plus
- Knowledge of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Reliable, organized, patient, and able to work well as part of a team
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Must meet all EEC background check and training requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
