Smile Santa Maria Dental is looking for an experienced, motivated RDA or Dental Assistant to join our team.
We are a busy, modern general dental practice providing a wide range of comprehensive dentistry, including restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, endodontics, oral surgery, implants, and cosmetic procedures.
We are looking for someone who is skilled, efficient, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys dentistry and patient care.

Compensation & Benefits
- $23–$33 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and clinical skills
- Monthly Production & Performance Bonus — Up to $800/month

What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate is an experienced RDA/DA who can work efficiently in a busy clinical environment while maintaining excellent patient care.
Preferred skills include:
- Experience as an RDA or Dental Assistant in a general dental practice
- Ability to take FMX, digital X-rays, panoramic X-rays, and CBCT scans efficiently and accurately
- Experience with intraoral digital scanning
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Comfortable assisting with a variety of procedures, including:
- Restorative dentistry
- Crown and bridge procedures
- Endodontics
- Extractions and oral surgery
- Implant procedures
- Familiarity with Open Dental
- Ability to enter treatment plans accurately
- Good understanding of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong infection-control and sterilization knowledge
- Ability to prepare operatories efficiently and anticipate the doctor's needs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional and friendly communication with patients
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Spanish-speaking is strongly preferred and is a significant plus for this position.

Preferred Experience
