Job Title: Clinical Director – Mental Health
Position Summary:
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and guiding the clinical operations and delivery of mental health services within the organization. This includes ensuring compliance with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in mental health treatment. The Clinical Director provides leadership, clinical supervision, quality assurance, and strategic direction to ensure the highest standard of care for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Administration
- Perform and manage clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and support staff.
- Oversee program planning, development, and evaluation.
- Monthly Clinical meetings
- Clinical Supervision & Quality Assurance
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinicians.
- Monitor clinical charts, documentation and procedures adopted by the providers regarding patient care
- Ensure adherence and total quality in the providers' services to the patients
- Review and evaluate clinical performance and outcomes.
- Management
- Ensure continuity of care and coordination with community partners and external providers.
- Analyze the service, attendance, and compliance according to the campaign guidelines.
- Implement evidence-based mental health programs tailored to client needs.
- Perform Clinical staff yearly performance reviews
- Training & Development
- Coordinate training and continuing education for clinical staff.
- Promote staff development and retention through coaching and mentorship.
- Foster a culture of learning and clinical excellence.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.
- Respond to clinical emergencies and oversee critical incident reporting.
- Participate in audits and licensing reviews.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work
- Current and valid state clinical licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Licensure
- Active and unrestricted Florida clinical license preferred, such as: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
