Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Skilled Machine Operator - 2nd SHIFT to join our manufacturing team. This role requires hands-on experience operating and setting up industrial production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently to meet both production targets and quality standards.

Responsibilities
· Set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing machinery according to specifications
· Perform machine changeovers, tooling adjustments, and basic calibrations
· Monitor production to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met
· Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools
· Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
· Perform routine preventative maintenance and report mechanical concerns
· Accurately complete production and quality documentation
· Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
· Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams
· Assist with training or mentoring less‑experienced operators when needed
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED required
· 3+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
· Proven experience with machine setup and adjustments
· Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
· Experience using precision measuring tools
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with CNC, and or lasers, brakes, roll former equipment
· Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
· Forklift, overhead crane or industrial equipment certification.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, heat, moving equipment)
Compensation: DOE base rate, and quarterly profit sharing.
