The Director of Realization is responsible for ensuring high quality and timely delivery of integrated systems projects. This person will contribute to corporate success by supporting sales to ensure competitive pricing and by maintaining as-sold margin on customer projects. They will ensure all projects are realized in compliance with the schedule, budget, quality requirements, and commercial agreements with our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Uphold and promote TGW’s values and ensure that all employees act according to the values

Directly manage the Installation, Project Management and Project Engineering departments, including
- hiring and firing of department managers
- leadership development of managers, including annual PDPs
- responsibility for organizational structure
- responsibility for creating and maintaining the department budgets
- Define growth criteria (with COO) and execute the plan to achieve planned head count, quality, and organizational structure
- Monitor customer projects for compliance of safety regulations and TGW methodology
- Provide ongoing resource planning for current projects and the expected new projects; budget for, train, and provide necessary employees to deliver the assigned projects
- Initiate and support the hiring process for new employees, conduct interviews and select applicants, and contract external partners to cover peak workloads
- Provide an escalation point for customer projects, whether it is with the a customer, a supplier, or another TGW unit
- Coordinate with other TGW departments, both locally and globally to align on project support and resourcing

Collaborate with the sales organization to
- ensure that TGW’s resource plan can deliver each project
- provide a project schedule
- prepare cost input
- support design, offer, and contract reviews
- ensure that TGW can realize the project according to the commercial terms
- Support the sales team by attending in-person or remote customer meetings to represent the realization department and TGW’s project delivery methodology
- Support and contribute to TGW’s strategic goals and have active participation in cross departmental initiatives
- Define (with COO) and implement key initiatives to improve operational excellence
- Provide great customer service, while still protecting TGW, such that each customer selects TGW as a partner of choice
- Performs other duties as required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering-related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Ten (10) to Fifteen (15) years of experience in Leadership & Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the material-handling industry.
Travel: 30% of travel as required.
Skills & Abilities

Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to go to site frequently and move safely around industrial and/or warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other electronic devices.
- Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to job site temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather in geographic region.
