The Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) provides clinical mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for individuals served by Serenity Solutions Health Care LLC. Services are delivered in compliance with DBHDS regulations, Medicaid requirements, professional licensure standards, and agency policies.Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial clinical assessments and establish accurate behavioral health diagnoses in accordance with applicable state regulations, licensing standards, and agency policies. Complete clinical reassessments at least every six (6) months, or more frequently when clinically indicated, to ensure continued medical necessity and appropriate service planning. Provide ongoing clinical supervision, consultation, and guidance to case managers and direct service staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered, and clinically appropriate services. Review and provide clinical oversight of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), quarterly progress reports, treatment recommendations, and discharge plans to ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. Ensure all clinical services are implemented in accordance with individualized treatment plans, evidence-based practices, organizational policies, and applicable federal, state, and DBHDS regulations. Complete and submit Initial and Continued Stay Authorizations through Attrezzo (or other designated utilization management systems) to support service authorization and continued care. Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with agency, Medicaid, and licensing standards. Collaborate with program leadership, case management staff, referral sources, community partners, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective client care. Provide clinical consultation and recommendations regarding complex cases, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and service delivery. Participate in case staffing meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives to promote positive client outcomes. Serve as a clinical resource to staff by providing education, mentoring, and support regarding best practices, documentation standards, and clinical interventions. Maintain regular communication with program leadership regarding client progress, clinical concerns, staffing needs, and program development. Serve as the designated backup to the Program Director by providing clinical leadership, supervision, and decision-making for on-call and after-hours crisis situations as needed. Maintain professional licensure, required certifications, and continuing education in accordance with state licensing board requirements. Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinical operations and mission of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Must hold a valid and active Virginia license (LPC, LCSW, LMHP) Minimum of one year of experience providing clinical services to individuals with mental health needs Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation CPR/First Aid and TOVA certifications mandatory
Work Environment:
This position requires flexibility and may involve work in homes, schools, and community settings. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on client needs.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
