Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients through slicing, chopping, and other food handling techniques using proper knife skills and slicing methods
- Cook a variety of dishes while maintaining safety standards in production and food handling procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and other appliances
- Support cleaning duties by maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen and food prep areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating culinary skills
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation, safety standards in production, and food handling procedures
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members
- Knowledge of food safety practices, recipe adherence, and catering experience is highly desirable
- Ability to demonstrate knife skills, slicing techniques, and proper food industry hygiene standards
