Specialized Knowledge and Skills
• Demonstrates proficiency in performing Echocardiograms, Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), Bubble Studies, Contrast administration/imaging and assisting with advanced procedures such as stress echos, as applicable. • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, and hemodynamics, with the ability to apply this knowledge to clinical assessments. • Skilled in operating ultrasound and Doppler equipment to obtain high-quality images and accurate data for diagnostic interpretation. • Ability to recognize and document abnormal cardiac findings and effectively communicate preliminary observations to the interpreting physician. • Position requires self-discipline. • Excellent communication skills. • A high degree of personal motivation • Excellent teamwork skills • Basic knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients serviced in their assigned service area as related to the principal duties and responsibilities of the position. The skills and knowledge needed to provide such care may be gained through education, training or experience. • One (1) year experience Echo-Carotid-Arterial-Venous-Stress Echo-TEE, preferred.
