Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness and sterilization in accordance with safety standards
- Vital signs measurement, and other diagnostic tests with precision and care
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems efficiently, documenting patient information accurately and promptly
- Provide health education to patients on topics such as post-operative care, bowel prep instructions, and dietary regimen
- Report patient conditions clearly to physicians, including changes or concerns observed during visits or treatments
- ensuring patient safety at all times
Experience
- Bilingual
- Proven experience in clinical settings such as clinics specializing surgery
- Hands-on experience with medical documentation, medical terminology, and EMR/EHR management systems
- Demonstrated ability to handle medical equipment, and patient service tasks with professionalism
- Prior work involving patient communication in a specialty clinic
- Knowledge the principals of diagnostic and procedure codes
