Overview
Position Summary The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for overseeing daily order fulfillment operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely shipment of all orders. This is a key role and serves as a working leader–owning the daily fulfillment flow, guiding team members, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time while actively picking and packing orders when needed. This new position will work closely with their team and reports to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate daily picking and packing operations to meet order volume and shipping deadlines
- Act as the first point of contact for all fulfillment-related questions and decisions during the shift
- Assign and prioritize work across the fulfillment team to maintain efficient workflow
- Ensure order accuracy by enforcing SKU, quantity, and lot/dye lot verification processes
- Monitor team productivity and provide real-time coaching and support
- Assist in training new employees on fulfillment procedures and best practices
- Ensure all orders are packed according to company standards and shipping guidelines
- Complete annual reviews of fulfillment team direct reports
- Help troubleshoot order issues, inventory discrepancies, and packing errors
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of fulfillment areas
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and communicate opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure daily fulfillment readiness, including workspace setup, team alignment, and workflow organization
- Communicate fulfillment needs, staffing gaps, and workflow challenges to the Operations Manager
- Identify issues that require escalation and communicate them to the Operations Manager only when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse, retail fulfillment, or order processing experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift as needed

Schedule
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
