Lead Clinical Excellence Without Direct Patient Care
A respected healthcare organization in South Orlando is seeking a Physician Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight across multiple primary care practices. This is an administrative leadership opportunity focused on physician and advanced practice clinician (APC) performance, quality outcomes, and care delivery excellence—no direct patient care responsibilities.
In this role, you will partner closely with an Operations leader in a collaborative dyad model, helping drive provider engagement, clinical quality initiatives, and operational success while supporting a patient-centered culture.
Position Highlights:

- Oversight of Physicians and APCs from a Clinical Care Delivery Perspective
- Influence Clinical Strategy, Quality Metrics, and Provider Performance
- Mentor and Develop Clinical Teams

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to physicians and APCs
- Support quality improvement initiatives and population health strategies
- Promote evidence-based medicine and best practices
- Collaborate with operational leadership to improve care delivery and patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty
- Active Florida Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Prior physician leadership experience preferred
