Professional Service Group located in Maplewood, MN is looking to hire consultants to provide CFSS consultation services in the state of Minnesota. CFSS is a new program starting 10/01/24 that replaces the current Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Consumer Support Grant (CSG) programs. Consultants provide service to our clients including but not limited to-
- Educate the person about CFSS.
- Educate the person about the agency model and budget model.
- Help the person write their CFSS service delivery plan, to the extent the person desires.
- Review the CFSS service delivery plan and submit it for approval
- Provide ongoing support throughout the year
- Must be detail oriented and self-starting.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education and Work History Requirements:
1. Must be 18 years or older
2. Must be able to pass a background study
3. Have previous experience in social services fields or personal care services.
And have a bachelors degree in one of the following fields:
- Psychologist.
- Social worker.
- Speech-language pathologist or audiologist.
- Professional recreation staff.
- Professional dietitian.
- Psychology.
- Sociology.
- Counseling.
- Special education
- Other human services fields.
Or Associates degree in any other field and coursework in human services.
Prospective hire must have experience providing support to clients that included tasks such as assesments, writing support plans, or managing their benefits. We are looking to hire individuals who can write plans with clients in the Personal Care Assistance program so having a background knowledge of the program or similar programs is necessary. Working knowledge of covered/excluded services and reading MnChoices Support Plans or PCA assessments.
Hours will be between 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
Fully Remote upon successful completion of a probationary training period

Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
