American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 46-bed surgical unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ACLS certification.

Work on a 46-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit (4N) in a hospital setting
-
Primary patient population includes post-surgical cases: trauma surgery, bariatric surgery, abdominal surgery, amputation surgery, and urological conditions
-
Unit also accepts medical overflow and cardiac patients
-
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6, which may increase to 1:7 during call-ins
-
PCT support is actively being added to the unit to help manage workload

Charting is done in Cerner
-
Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Every other weekend is required
-
Every other holiday is required
-
No on-call responsibilities

Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
