GrandStay in Valley City, ND is looking to hire a part-time Breakfast Host / Hostess to help create a fantastic breakfast experience for our hotel guests. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST HOST / HOSTESS
As a Breakfast Host / Hostess, you work to curate a delicious and relaxing breakfast experience for our guests. You come in every morning to prepare fresh breakfast food while following operational policies and meeting hotel standards. Diligently, you set out the food and refresh the containers as supplies get low. You keep the food serving area clean and sanitized.
With your excellent customer service skills, you interact with our guests and ensure they are satisfied with their food. If a guest has a complaint, you either resolve the issue to the best of your ability or pass the complaint on to upper management. You put away the food after breakfast is over and thoroughly clean all surfaces. You feel great about working hard to keep our guests happy and full!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BREAKFAST HOST / HOSTESS
- Education up to an 11th-grade level
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
A high school diploma or equivalent would be preferred but not required. Experience working in either food service or customer service is also preferred. Are you a skilled multi-tasker? Can you maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday? Do you have a passion for providing unmatched customer service? If yes, you might just be perfect for this hospitality position!
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A BREAKFAST HOST / HOSTESS
This part-time position typically works 6:00 am - 12:00 pm.
