Duties
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote childhood development and learning standards.
- Lead and supervise teaching staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development facilitation in early childhood education best practices.
- Oversee daily center operations, ensuring adherence to licensing regulations, educational compliance, and safety protocols.
- Manage budgets effectively as an executive education administrator, including planning, monitoring expenses, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts to support program enhancements, facility improvements, and community engagement initiatives.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions to set goals for program growth, staff development, and community outreach.
- Ensure all personnel management activities are conducted in accordance with school legal knowledge and employment law, including hiring, training, and supervising staff.
- Promote a positive team environment through effective school staff supervision, fostering collaboration among educators and administrative personnel.
- Engage with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community events to strengthen relationships and support child success.
- Lead faculty evaluation processes to maintain high instructional standards and implement instructional leadership in education practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in school administrative director roles or similar leadership positions within early childhood or K–12 education settings.
- Extensive background in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and classroom experience working directly with young children.
- Demonstrated success managing budgets as an executive education administrator with a focus on managing resources efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of educational compliance regulations, special education law, childhood development principles, and early childhood education standards.
- Experience facilitating professional development for school staff and conducting faculty evaluations to enhance teaching quality.
- Supervisory experience overseeing school staff or teachers within a licensed childcare or early learning environment.
- Excellent public speaking skills combined with the ability to lead team meetings and community outreach initiatives confidently.
- Familiarity with managing programs that serve diverse student populations within a preschool or early childhood context is highly desirable.
