Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining a tidy service environment.
- Help with basic food handling procedures in accordance with safety regulations to ensure food quality and hygiene.
- Participate in banquet and catering setups, including organizing serving stations and ensuring timely delivery of meals.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
- Experience in food handling, cleaning, or kitchen support roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques or banquet experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards in hotel or catering environments is advantageous.
