New Life Acupuncture & Apothecary is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and professional Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician/Doctor of Oriental Medicine to join our growing practice 1–2 days per week, with the opportunity to expand as the practice grows.
Our clinic focuses on providing personalized, high-quality care in a calm, welcoming environment. We combine acupuncture with herbal medicine, nutrition, lifestyle education, and other holistic therapies to help patients achieve lasting results. Looking for an Acupuncture Physician who is comfortable prescribing Chinese herbal medicine & Supplements (important part of our practice).
The ideal candidate values an integrative, hands-on approach to patient care. In addition to providing exceptional acupuncture treatments, our practitioners incorporate bodywork techniques such as Tui Na, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching, cupping, gua sha, or other manual therapies when clinically appropriate.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform acupuncture treatments utilizing sterile techniques, targeting specific trigger points and areas of acute pain to promote healing and pain relief.
- Apply advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) principles to address diverse health concerns.
- Manage patient care by monitoring progress, adjusting treatment protocols as needed, and providing education on self-care strategies.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers for integrated patient diagnosis and treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent infections.
- Stay current with the latest developments in pain medicine, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology to enhance treatment efficacy.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist with certification in acupuncture practice.
- Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and pain medicine modalities.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments effectively.
- Proficiency in managing Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to direct patient care and education.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
- Knowledge of TCM principles and their application within modern healthcare settings is preferred but not required.
