Our busy optometry practice is seeking an experienced, friendly, and dependable Optical Sales Associate/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, providing exceptional customer service, and helping patients find eyewear that enhances both their vision and lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting frames, ophthalmic lenses, lens coatings, and eyewear products based on their visual needs and lifestyle.
- Deliver an outstanding patient experience from check-in through checkout.
- Greet patients with a warm, professional attitude and maintain a welcoming office environment.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and efficiently manage patient flow.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, explain coverage, and accurately collect patient payments.
- Dispense, adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous optometry experience is required.
- Strong optical sales experience with knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, coatings, frame styling, and insurance plans.
- Adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.00–$17.50 per hour (based on experience)
