St. John Vianney Catholic School is seeking a warm, organized, and professional Administrative Assistant to join our Main Office team. This position primarily serves our K–8 school while also providing support to our Early Childhood Center as needed.

Duties
- Welcome visitors, answer phones, and provide exceptional customer service to families, students, staff, and guests.
- Support the daily operations of the K–8 Main Office while assisting the Early Childhood Center as needed.
- Assist with enrollment, attendance, student records, parent communications, scheduling, substitute coverage, and field trip coordination.
- Provide basic student health support, including assisting students with minor illnesses and injuries, administering medications according to school procedures, and contacting parents when appropriate.
- Create, proofread, and update correspondence, forms, reports, and other communications using Google Workspace, Canva, WordPress, and social media platforms.
- Assist with state reporting, student assessments, and student information systems, including Infinite Campus.
- Manage the school's Chromebook inventory and provide first-level technology support, including basic troubleshooting of Chromebooks, printers, copiers, and classroom technology; coordinate with Tier II support as needed.
- Assist with purchasing, textbook ordering, invoice coding, inventory management, and office supply ordering to support daily operations.
- Support the principal and administrative team with office management, filing, photocopying, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Experience
Required
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, etc.).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable learning new technology and troubleshooting basic technology issues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.

Preferred
- Three or more years of administrative or office experience.
- Previous school office or educational experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with student information systems (such as Infinite Campus).
- Experience with Canva, WordPress, social media, or digital communications.
- Experience with purchasing, invoice coding, inventory management, or textbook ordering.
- Experience providing basic technology support in a school or office environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
