We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team. In this vital leadership role you will oversee, guide, and support nursing staff, and help ensure the highest standards of care for individuals with developmental disabilities. This position will require regular travel between both our Sikeston and Poplar Bluff campuses to ensure continuity of care, provide on-site support to nursing teams, and oversee nursing operations across both locations. This role may be domiciled at either facility, depending on operational needs and candidate preference.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do
This is a managerial nurse position accountable for directing nursing services, which includes oversight/review of work and documentation of subordinate and/or specialist personnel. Accountable for directing subordinates in coordinating care for patients and administering nursing programs or overseeing educational requirements and disciplinary actions for nurses licensed by the State. Directs nursing services and oversees other health services in a public health program. The Nurse Manager is a highly functional member of a multidisciplinary team providing direct care in a hospital setting or directs nursing and health services in a public health program. Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising RN supervisors at each site.
- Reviewing all nursing program requirements to ensure alignment with best practices, regulatory compliance, and optimal clinical care.
- Proposing local facility policies and procedures, and serving on statewide reviews as needed.
- Ensuring consistency in program application.
- Serving on leadership team and focusing on interdisciplinary team approach.
- Working closely with QE Department when systemic issues are identified.
- Training resource for clinical questions related to the electronic healthcare record (EHR).
- May direct the work of the dietary department.
Qualifications - All you need for success
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- 3-5 Years of experience as an Registered Nurse.
- 2-4 years of supervisory Registered Nurse experience.
- Must posses a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of management principles and techniques as applied to nursing administration.
- Ability to maintain clinical and administrative records and prepare related reports.
